EYE-2-EYE FILE SHARING FAIR!

FREE SHOW
is a series of interactive works taking place in the corner windows of an apartment building in the landmark district of Weehawken Street in New York city. The project is featuring site-specific interventions by artists who transgress the threshold between the public and private spheres of home and street with interactive exchanges, services and performances.

On Saturday November 10th Federico Guzmán opens the Shared Folder at Free Show, a file sharing fair that will run from noon at the corner of Tenth Street West and Weehawken. The Shared Folder is an archive of music, movies, programs, recipes, drawings, photos and documents both propietary and free, digital or physical that are open and accesible to the public. The folder propagates while it exchanges its contents with the participants. You will also find a library to photocopy and mix tapes by different dj's. Yuca is presenting Moakara's new work, Loves to the skies that will be released on the street as well as in cyberspace. Come Saturday to the Fair and bring in your cd's or hard drive for a face to face sharing around a table with the rest of the world!
